I finally got through and spoke with a rep. They told me that the previous rep had cancelled the EXPIRED card and not the missing replacement, therefore a new expedited card could not be sent, so this rep cancelled the "correct" card and re-issued one with 2 days...

I am having the same problem with Direct Express. They sent my new card to the wrong address, so they cancelled that one and issued another.

It's been over 2 weeks no card, when i called the rep said we can cancel that card and reissue another card but i will have to pay 13.00$ for ups express or i can try to get the fee waive but its not guarantee that it would be waive.

So I'm trying to hold out to see if my card comes in. It is huge interruption.

Direct Express Debit Card Review

September 3, 2016, I have went online and unable to check my balance. I am told unavailable data. I have called since 3:10a.m. to 4:50 a.m. and constantly told to check back in 30 minutes. Aggravating. Unable to purchase on my card at service station because funds not available. I HAVE to get an account at Bank so I can reach someone about my funds at all times. DIRECT EXPRESS IS NOT FOR ME.

My Money Was Stolen Review

Can't believe the security on our cards is so poor. This is government money ppl are allowed to *** and steal from us all. It's ridiculous trying to make a living and can't trust our money to be safe!!!!

the services are non existent when all you want is to talk to someone, its not possible. first, when you call the number on the card, it asks for language, then the card number /s.s. number. if the system is down, you cant get beyond this stage to speak to someone....

Same thing happened to me at US Bank here in Spokane Washington. Direct Express keeps telling me that the cash machine dispensed $360 to me and it never gave me the cash because I cancelled the transaction so I did not have to pay ATM fee.

I went to another bank only 5 minutes later that was free for a withdraw and drew out the $360 but for 3 months now this Dispute Dept. keep telling me I'm a liar and I got the cash out.If you check it out there are over 2000 complaints with the BBB and other companies about customers getting ripped off by Comerica Bank-Direct Express and I am one of them!

This is the most horrible cs i have ever dealt with. Someone used my cc on a guest pay pal account. $600 i called pay pal myself direct express wouldnt do anything until chatge cleared. It has been almost 20 days they still have done nothing i need the money to get home im stuck no one will just call pay pal so they can do a charge back.i talk to them every day and nothing is done only mam we hsve up to 45 days u will be notified in writting.

My brother had his card...stolen ...same thing...

was told to get a police report only to receive ...

a letter 40 days later telling him they would not reverse charges. We need to format a class

action suit.

On July 7th 2016, I went online to do an address changw with the post office. I did not know a fraudulent change of address came up instead and I filled out the information on the site. They asked for a credit card which was not unusual because USPS charges one dollar on your card to change your address. So I gave them my Direct Express card number.. By July 9th I noticed a charge for 39.95 on my card from a US Mail Forward. I was never told about this charge so I called Direct Express for days trying to file a dispute. This was after I contacted US Mail Forward at least 10 times starting with calls to there phone number that dropped each time and followed by numerous emails that came back undeliverable to me. After reporting this to Direct Express they asked me to wait fr a form to come that took up to two weeks to come to me. I sent the form back to them and waited about a month for Direct Express to tell me no error occurred and the case is closed. There is no way this could have been investigated properly and I was defrauded by that fake website as well as Direct Express. I need my money returned to me.

Were can I start with this company maybe with the poor treatment shall we is my biggest issue with this bank. Quote not all the customer service is abundantly rude there has been very nice helpful customer service from my dealings with this bank that's only few of those types compared to the rude un helpful miserable customer service sadly ive had to deal with when serious issue accrue with the card when it comes to fraudulent acts and I am trying to get to the bottom of it and worked out smoothly like a bank should be willing to do than to stress you out by being impolite or just plain out irate because they hate their jobs. I feel like if they dont like what they are doing then quit or retire and get more people who need a job and is willing to do it than allowing these tacky people to continue on with their rudeness making difficult situations even more unnerving BC of their inconsiderate reckless behavior on the phone. I feel like the calls should be monitored more closely so the management will know which ones are being this un useful or plain out rude to customers. With all the reviews complaining about the rude behavior when calling in id think the problem is them also you'd think they'd be trying to keep customers happy and wanting to keep a active account with their bank you'd think they'd also want to bring more people in than to chase them away or by *** them off to where it comes to writing a negative review to add on to the several different customer complaints on line just in general. Hopefully positive changes will happen here BC something has to give soon or later with that type negative behavior.. Its to much to be dealing with when there is more major issues on your mind while trying to remain calm with some miserable individual who doesn't seem to care or want to do much for you than to want to be as patience and helpful as possible. Its their jobs right?

I am a single disabled mother and i had been online and seen ad for weight loss product for trial size bottle send $2.49 shipping &handling no other obigaltions ,So I sent for it needed to be a credit card used my direct express card. After receiving the product my next months statment shows where there are all different weight companies has taking money from my account ,I called direct express and explained what happened asked them not to let any of them tpyes pull any more money out,This still continued for several months I called again i was told file fraud papers i did they disputed it denied it cause they needed more information from me but yet I was never advised of this til I called again .I am still after almost a year trying to get back almost $1700 that wasnt never stopped after I reported it to D.Express.Now today when I call all I get is rude personal that wont help me with any of whats supposedly needed.And so when i tryed calling all the merchants the names and phone numbers were different but when called they all had the same lady answer .I have never called D.Express and ever have felt they have ever been helpful with any thing ,I am totally apauled and discussed with the whole instatute

Short Review on August 17, 2016

I had a charge for nearly 50$ show up yesterday for Monday, at Murphy at Walmart. I didnt go to Murphy... i filled up my v6 Escape gas tank on the 12th at Circle K for 28$! Now to file another dispute (last one was denied even with sending in receipt showing amount was 10$ less than what was charged - IT was DENIED). Direct Express is a pain in the ***. Seriously.

My father passed 12/25/14. All he had to his name was SSI income on a Direct Express card. They refuse to send any of the $16K left on the card even though they have all of the notarized court paperwork. It is over 18 months later and they are still giving me the run...
