It took 5 days to get ahold of anyone to answer the phone. I had a fraudulent debit on my account and was trying to find out what it was and who did it.
As it turned out it was someone from another state. What irritates me is that I have to wait to get my money put back to my account. Also have to stop my card and get another one, so therefore it freezes my account until I get a new one. This is not the first time this has happened to me.
Someone from another state, yes. I am on SS and have only my income, so when this happens it makes life very difficult for me. What is wrong with people!! Now of course they have to send me papers to fill out and return to them.
I think it is all a bunch of bull. If you report it to them I don't know why they cannot take care of it on the phone. Very upset!! I still don't understand how they can claim to have high call volume for 5 days.
I tried calling up to 11 pm at night for four nights and as early as 6 am. It was like the service was no longer available and no one gave you any notification. I am not real pleased with direct express service. I have a hard time understanding why our SS chooses them for people to deposit their checks to.
They are not a very dependable company. Kind of scary!!
I could go on and on but I am done. Thank you for answering the phone after five days.
User's recommendation: Go elsewhere! Maybe somewhere else you can at least get in contact with them. With direct express you have to depend on a phone call. I also could not contact them thru internet.
