My brother has worked all his life to draw his social security benefits and chosen the option to send directly to the USDirectExpress card partly for convenience and partly because he felt it was protected by the government. Wrong!
Lots of examples of shady business but most recently on February 3rd he had benefits as per usual shortly after midnight. Following fraudulent charges were made: 02/03/2017 08:35:29 PAI ISO MIAMI, FL ATM CASH WITHDRAWAL $609.00 08:36:36 PAI ISO MIAMI, FL ATM CASH WITHDRAWAL $609.00 08:37:36 PAI ISO MIAMI, FL ATM CASH FEE $0.85 08:37:45 PAI ISO MIAMI, FL ATM CASH WITHDRAWAL $406.00 He lives in Louisiana and only one card was issued to him. Logistically impossible to use card both places in short span of time. No real help from USDirectExpress.
When you call CoAmerica...hello they really don't have anything to do with that either??? Have contacted Inspector General. No one is accountable for anything. *** poor business!!!
Called useless toll free number on back of card. Forty forevers to get a live agent and then a horribly rude on. Must now fill out claim dispute that they insist on mailing on the 12th of never. He has bills to pay and is having to go out and borrow money until this is resolved.
Where is FDIC protection and why is government since 2008 using this company who has many circumspect things going on. If you are interested in joining a class action suit I am suited up!
